13 IPS promoted as DIGs, SM Sharma elevated as ADGP

Chandigarh, Apr 24 (UNI) The Punjab government today promoted IG S M Sharma as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and 13 other IPS officers of the 1991 batch to the rank of DIG.

Besides, two IPS officers of the 1991 batch and nine of the 1992 have been placed in the selection grade, an official spokesman here said.
