Talks with LTTE should continue: India
New Delhi, Apr 21: India today said the talks between the Sri Lankan government and the LTTE must continue for resolving the ethnic problem in the island nation.
''We would like to emphasis the importance of continuing the process of dialogue to resolve outstanding issues,'' an External Affairs Ministry Spokesman told reporters.
He made the statement in response to LTTE pulling out of the talks slated to be held later this month.
India hoped that the Norwegian mediators would succeed in early resumption of the negotiations.
