Rajnath rejects Khurana's sex scandal allegation
Lucknow, Apr 21: BJP president Rajnath Singh today dismissed as ''baseless'' allegations by former Delhi Chief Minister and suspended BJP leader Madan Lal Khurana that the party was infested with sex scandals.
Mr Singh, who reached the UP capital early today on his Bharat Suraksha Rath, said Mr Khurana's ''research'' came too late on the issue.
On whether the ''research'' made genuine observations, Mr Singh said it was upto the 'guide' of Khurana to comment.
Mr Khurana yesterday resigned from the party, saying he could not stay in a 'private limited company' which was infested with sex scandals and run by 'AC room leaders'.
Mr Khurana said the faith, principles and hope with which he had joined the erstwhile Jan Sangh and later the BJP, were in shambles.
Blaming former BJP Chief L K Advani and his 'coterie' for the ills plaguing the party, Mr Khurana said he would soon expose those involved in sex scandals.
