Suspended BJP leader Madanlal Khurana resigns
New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) Suspended BJP leader Madan Lal Khurana today resigned from the party, saying he could not stay in a 'private limited company' which was infested with sex scandals and run by 'AC room leaders'.
Announcing this 'painful decision' on the 'saddest day of his life', Mr Khurana told mediapersons that the faith, principles and hope with which he had joined the erstwhile Jan Sangh and later the BJP, were today in a shambles.
Accusing L K Advani and the 'coterie' surrounding him as the reasons for the ills plaguing the party, and the reason for his resignation, the former Delhi Chief Minister said he would soon expose those involved in sex scandals which had brought the party to its present decadent state.
