Polling in Bhatpara constituency on May 16

Kolkata, Apr 21 (UNI) The Election Commission today notified that polling would be held on May 16 in the Bhatpara Assembly constituency, election for which was countermanded following the death of the Bahajuan Samajwadi Party(BSP) candidate.

Chief Electoral Officer(CEO) Debasish Sen said the last date for filing nomination by the BSP had been fixed on April 28 while the scrutiny would be held on April 29 and the last date for withdrawal was May two.
