Laddu moisture-measuring machine for TTD

Tirumala, Apr 21 (UNI) To provide quality laddus with less dampness to devotees of Lord Venkateswara, Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) installed a Rs 2.70 lakh laddu-moisture-measuring machine at the Water Analysis Lab here, TTD Special Officer A V Dharma Reddy here said.

The moisture-measuring machine, purchased from the US-based M/S Metlor Toledo company, would measure the dampness in laddu and ghee within a minute. earlier the process used to take hours he said yesterday.

To meet pilgrims demand, TTD everyday produced 2.75 lakh laddus at the Tirumala temple, he addid.
