WIPRO show cases architectural lightning

Chennai, Apr 20 (UNI)Wipro Consumer care and Lighting, the FMCG business of IT giant Wipro today show cased the premium range of architectural lighting to meet the requirements of the booming retail sector in the country.

Soon after the launch, Mr Rajesh Kochhar Chief executive of the company told newsmen here the country was witnessing an exponential growth in the retail sector with large malls, super markets and hypermarkets coming up across the country, with huge investments.

The need to create international standard retail outlets is on the rise and lighting was one of the most critical parameter in increasing the right kind of ambience in a shopping space and to increase footfalls.

He claimed that they were the first lighting company in the country to launch a comprehensive range of this segement. The products were showcased at Wipro lighting's premium event the annual light show to the eminent architects and builders in Bangalore today.
