Uttaranchal Budget Session adjourned sine die

Dehra Dun, Apr 20 (UNI) The Budget Session of Uttranchal Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die today, following walk-outs and distruptions in the proceedings over ''Jatrofa plantation scam''.

Earlier, Speaker Yash Pal Arya adjourned the House twice as the Opposition BJP and BSP members marched to the well raising slogans against the Congress government and created uproar in the House, alleging irregularities commtted by the authorities in Jatrofa plantation.

The Opposition members compared the ''Jatrofa plantation scam'' with the ''fodder scam'' in Bihar.

BJP legislator Ajay Bhatt and Prakash Pant said Rs two crore 35 lakh were involved in Jatrofa scam.
