Sanjiv Kataria to launch Integrated Strategic Communications venture

New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) IT communications veteran Sanjiv Kataria will bid goodbye to the corporate world this month to work as an independent Strategic Communications and PR counsel.

Mr Kataria, a specialist in communication strategy development, image building and crisis communication, will share his long experience with the top managements of service companies including IT, IT enabled services and education sector.

A name synonymous with corporate communications and brand building within the Indian IT industry for nearly 20 years, Mr Kataria has been heading the function for the two NIIT group companies-NIIT Ltd and NIIT Technologies.

Announcing his project Mr Kataria said : "The Indian services sector is opening up new opportunities in the strategic communication and PR space.These sectors realise the advantages they can derive from this function to position themselves in the global markets".

Mr Katria built communication strategy development during his stint at DCM, ITDC and NIIT and mastered the art of nurturing brands while working on J and K Tourism and NIIT.As a key member of NIIT's top team for 18 years, he worked assiduously towards building NIIT into the most respected IT education company and software services brand.

While India has many exceptional technology focused PR firms, there is a need for Integrated Strategic Communications and PR counsel for the entire services sector.He will address external and internal communication needs of the fastest growing and perhaps the most globaly connected IT and IT enabled services industries.

In this new venture he will team up with Ms Vinita Chawla, an IT industry editor with vast industry knowledge,capabilities in content creation and sound communication insights.She had edited Computers and Communications, Computerworld India and HT Tech4You.
