Parryware, ceramics gaint Roca ink joint venture

Mumbai, Apr 20: Parryware Glamourooms Private Limited and the Spanish-based bathroom ceramics global leader, Roca, have inked a 50:50 joint venture designed to bring to the Indian market their international designs and state-of-the-art technology product offerings.

EID Parry (India) Ltd Vice-Chairman Vellayan said, ''by joining hands with Roca, we are now well-poised to usher in an era of innovative bathroom products that will continue to transform bathrooms to glamourooms.'' Stating that as a result of this JV, Roca has now strengthened its numero uno position in the Indian market, Roca's senior managing director Domingo Colomo, said, ''with the opening up of the economy, we are committed to growing the Indian market and our foray into the Indian market with a trusted name like Parryware gives us immense confidence and credibility.''
