Japanese rape victim brought to Ajmer

Ajmer, Apr 20 (UNI) The Rajasthan Police brought the Japanese tourist, allegedly raped by a hotel manager in Pushkar, here today from Agra.

The woman had faxed a message to Ajmer superintendent of police on Tuesday from Agra alleging that hotel manager Babloo had raped her on April 2.

The police team then reached Agra yesterday and found her in a guest house where she testified that Babloo had raped her after duping her of money, which he promised to keep in the safe custody of his mother.

According to police sources, the main accused Babloo, his brother Raju and their mother who is a local Congress leader and another youth have been arrested.

The Japanese woman has alleged that Babloo made her drink a curd syrup laced with an intoxicant at a party he threw for her, which made her unconscious, after which he raped her.
