Indian squad arrives

Mumbai, Apr 20 (UNI) The Indian cricket team arrived at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here this morning from Abu Dhabi after squaring a two-match one-day series against Pakistan in aid of the October 8 earthquake victims.

The team was taken to the Taj Lands Ends Hotel in suburban Bandra upon arrival.

India continued its impressive one-day form this season returning from Abu Dhabi after squaring the two-match DLF Cup against Pakistan. Yesterday's win ensured that India did not lose a one-dy series this season having beaten Sri Lanka, Pakistan in Pakistan and England, while drawing the series' against South Africa at home and Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.

Some of the players were taken to the domestic terminal from where they would catch their flights back to their hometowns, while skipper Rahul Dravid would leave for Bangalore in the evening.

Dravid would be attending the selection committee meeting which would meet here this afternoon to select the 16-member squad for the five one-day international series against West Indies beginning there from May 18.
