Fire in Yamuna Pushta slums

New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) Fire broke out in the slum cluster of East Delhi's Yamuna Pushta area this afternoon.

Fire Department Officials said the blaze broke out at around 1235 hrs and 15 fire tenders have been rushed to the area to control it.

So far, no casualties have been reported, they said.

''The blaze is yet to be controlled and we are sending more fire tenders to the site,'' an official said.

The cause of the fire or the damage is yet to be ascertained.

Last week, six people were killed and several injured in a major fire in the same slum cluster.
