Chief Engineer arrested for misappropriations

Jammu, Apr 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Vigilance organisation in a drive against corruption has arrested Chief Engineer Roads and Buildings Shams-ud-Din Koka on charges of misappropriation in purchase of goods for the department.

The organisation detected the case in which engineering items worth Rs one crore were purchased from the family members of Mr Koka, out of which maximum portion was allegedly swindled by family members and engineers concerned of the department.

Mr Koka has been arrested.
