Brinda Karat come down on UDF's policies
Kottayam, Apr 20 (UNI) CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat today said the United Democratic Front had betrayed all sections of society and public opinion was against the 'so-called' development policies of the UDF government in Kerala.
At a meet-the-press programme here, she said the people had faith in the vision of development of the LDF and it would come to power.
On national politics she said the Left Front was not supporting any party or Government but the UPA's Common Minimum Programme (CMP).
The central committee would assess the political situation after the elections.
The Left Front would not destabilise the UPA Government, she said, in reply to a question, adding, if there was any threat to stability, it was only because of its approach towards the CMP prepared jointly with the Left.
When asked about the BJP's allegation that the Left was supporting the UPA inside and opposing it outside, she said the Left had only one language whether it was inside or outside Parliament.
