Arjun Singh among three sworn in for Rajya Sabha term

New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) Rajya Sabha chairman Bhairon Singh Shekhawat today administered the oath of office to three newly-elected members, including Minister for Human Resource Development Arjun Singh from Madhya Pradesh (Congress).

The other members who were sworn in included Mr Raashid Alvi of the Congress from Andhra Pradesh and Mr Vijaykumar Ramniklal Rupani of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Gujarat.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Suresh Pachauri was among those present at the swearing-in ceremony held in the office of Rajya Sabha chairman.
