Former BJP MP passes away

Siwan, Bihar, Apr 19 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former MP Janardan Tiwari died at his native village Bindusar under Muffasil town police station area after a prolonged illness here today.

According to family sources, Mr Tiwari (82) was suffering from cancer for the last two years. He represented Siwan Parliamentary constituency from 1977 to 1989.

Mr Tiwari was also elected from Siwan assembly constituency for three terms.

Several political leaders, social workers and prominent personalities paid floral tributes to the departed soul.
