Tamhane urges Govt to build BJ High School

Thane, Apr 17 (UNI) Senior freedom fighter Datta Tamhane today demanded that the BJ High School, which was razed, be rebuilt for the sake of education in the city.

Addressing a news conference here today, Mr Tamhane lamented the State Government, which spent crores of rupees in building roads and other activities, had ignored rebuilding the school.

He said Bhayramji Jeejibhoy had donated land to the Government for constructing a school but the school had not yet been built.
