Take Solutions announces acquisition of ACI LLG

Chennai, Apr 18: The city-based Take Solutions Ltd, a technology enabled business solutions company and a leading supply chain management and life sciences vertical today announced the acquisition of the US-based companies Onsphere Corporation and Applied Clinical Intelligence, (LLG) (ACI).

Talking to newspersons here today Company's President and CEO Ram Yeleswarapu said while Onsphere Corporation, an emerging leader in regulatory complaint web-based pharma solutions, had been acquired for a sum of 2.75 million USD, ACI LLG providers of clinical research solutions to pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, accounted for 2.4 million USD.

As per the terms and conditions, the company will acquire these two companies in an all cash deal. Onsphere is a 100 per cent acquisition and the company has a 51 per cent stake in ACI, he added.

He said with the acquisition of Onsphere Corproation, the company will be able to enhance its FDA Compliant Document Management Systems complementary to Take's current product offering, SubmitSPL and Submit-eCTD.

As a Microsoft Gold Certified partner and Digital Pharma member company, Onsphere has successfully deployed solutions throughout US, Canada and Europe and the acquisition will enable the company solutions to leverage the expertise, he added.

Mr Srinivasan H R Vison holder of the company said the incorporation of ACI will strengthen its clinical data management, analysis and reporting capabilities.

The acquisition was in line with their focused strategy to scale their products, offering for the life sciences vertical, he added.
