Suryapratap Reddy murder very unfortunate: DGP

Hyderabad, Apr 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Swaranjit Sen today termed the murder of former MLA and TDP leader Surya Pratap Reddy as ''very unfortunate.'' Reacting to the crime when media personnel called on him, Mr Sen refuted allegations on security failure. The state police reviewed the situation of political leaders vulnerable to attack regularly.

'The killing of Surya Pratap Reddy is a very unfortunate incident,' he said.

Mr Sen said they had put on personnel on highways soon after the incident. 'We will not spare those who are behind the incident, no matter how big and influential are.' UNI ASJ AA VD PC1645
