Smart City pact to be signed soon: Chandy

Kottayam, Apr 18 (UNI) Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today said the Smart City agreement will be signed immediately on the basis of the High Court verdict.

By signing the agreement, he said, Kerala would be giving the message to the world that ''controversies could not affect development projects.'' Reacting to Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan's alleged threat to jail him if the pact was signed, Mr Chandy said he was ready face the consequences.
