Shiv Sena city chief quits office

Kolhapur, Apr 18 (UNI) Shiv Sena city unit chief Sanjay Pawar today quit his party post internal bickering but said he would remain a dedicated worker.

Announcing this at a news conference here, he accused the party high command of being apathatic in redressing grievances of the workers.

Mr Pawar, who had been holding the post since 1989, lamented the party high command have had always imposed outsiders as party candidates during elections by ignoring local activists.

Mr Pawar, who is the Sena Corporator, charged the party district president with claiming credit for every work, adding this has resulted in discontent among the workers.
