Nitish Kumar condoles Vindyavasini Devi's death

Patna, Apr 14 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today condoled the death of noted folk singer Vindyavasini Devi.

In his condolence message, Mr Kumar said the entire nation, particularly Bihar, suffered a great loss due to death of Ms Vindyavasi Devi who was awarded the Padma Shree in 1974.

The Madhya Pradesh government had honoured her with ''Ahilyabai Samman'' in 1997.
