NFCL clocks record urea production

Hyderabad, Apr 18 (UNI) Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (NFCL) has achieved a record urea production of 13.70 lakh metric tonnes during 2005-06.

A press release here today said for the second consecutive year, NFCL produced urea in its two units.

While unit one produced 7,03,645 metric tonne, production at the second unit stood at 6,75,571 metric tonne.

NFCL said its products -- Mahazinc, Zinc Sulphate, Zeta,speciality fertilizers and urea -- sold out fully during the year.
