Lucknow, Apr 18 (UNI) The next session of both houses of Uttar Pradesh Legislature is expected to commence from May 11.
A decision in this respect was taken at the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav here today, official sources said.
The State Governor T V Rajeswar is likely to address the joint sitting of both houses on the inaugural day of the next session, sources added.
The last session of the legislature had spanned across five months from November last year to March 2006. The CM, on the concluding day of the last session, had assured that the ceremonial address by the Governor to the joint sitting of both houses would be held in the next session.
