NCDEX records trade worth Rs 3,748 cr

Mumbai, Apr 18 (UNI) As many as 578 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 3,748 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 84,480 trades put through by them.

Active trades were high in guarseeds, chana, silver, lemon tur, wheat and urad, a NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, about 617 members had participated in trading and put through more than 1,11,180 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 4,968 crore (one way).

Active trades were in urad, chana, guarseed, silver, gold and lemon tur, the release added.
