SEOUL, Apr 18 (Reuters) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) has tendered to sell 80,000 tonnes of fuel oil and 116,000 tonnes of distillates for May, tender documents showed on Tuesday.
The tender, which closes on April 25, offers 80,000 tonnes of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil to be lifted between May 20-22 from the port of New Mangalore, according to the documents.
MRPL also offered 30,000 tonnes of naphtha for May 16-18 loading, 36,000 tonnes of jet kerosene/Jet A-1 for May 13-15 lifting and 50,000 tonnes of 0.5 percent sulphur content gas oil for May 14-16 loading -- all from the the same port, they showed.
Bidders have the option of lifting Jet Kerosene/Jet A-1 and gas oil cargoes together between May 14-16, the documents showed.
MRPL's last spot tender for an April-loading fuel oil cargo was sold to Mitsui Oil Asia at a discount of around $2.50-$3.00 a tonne to Singapore 380-cst quotes on a free-on-board basis.
The refinery's naphtha cargo for first-half May loading was sold via tender to Japanese trading house Itochu at more than $10 a tonne to spot Middle East quotes on a free-on-board basis, which was a higher premium than its last sale.
