MLA murder: TDP holds rasta roko in AP

Vijayawada, Apr 18 (UNI) Condemning the murder of former Andhra Pradesh MLA Suryapratap Reddy at Tadipatri Railway Station, several Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders and activists today organised rasta roko near police control room here, leading to traffic jam.

TDP Urban President G Ramamohan Rao, who led the agitation,charged Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy with failure to curb political killings in the state for the last three years.

The activists gave vent to their anger and raised slogans against the Chief Minister and Panchayat Raj Minister J C Diwakar Reddy.

Later, police arrested the agitating TDP leaders.
