Lightning claims three in Marathwada

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Apr 17 (UNI) Three deaths due to lightning have been reported from Nanded, Osmanabad and Parbhani districts of Marathwada.

According to the information available at the Divisional Commissionerate here today, the three people died when lightning struck them yesterday.

In the first incident, Chandrakant Dhavle, a labourer and resident of neighbouring Latur district, was killed at Mhaski village in Nanded district, while a 20-year-old youth from Upala village in Osmanabad district and Sheikh Afasar (26) of Bori vilalge in Parbhani district died when lightning struck them, official sources said.
