IT officer detained in bribery case

Kolkata, Apr 17 (UNI) CBI's anti-corruption wing tonight detained a Joint Commissioner of Income Tax department on bribery charges, official sources here said.

Sources said Jt Commissioner K K Tiwari was picked up from his Salt Lake residence while allegedly taking cash from a businessman.

Sources said the CBI sleuths were still interogating the IT officer.
