Gurgaon Police gets ISO 9001 : 2000
Chandigarh, Apr 18 (UNI) The Gurgaon Police has become the first police force in Northern India to get ISO 9001:2000 certificate and to start ''Turant 24'' Yojna to immediately solve the cases, strengthen the law and order and infuse a sense of security among people.
It has also started Women and Senior Citizen Helplines besides giving training about cyber crime to the police officials, a police spokesman said.
He said a new scheme ''Turant 24'' had been started for common people which was available round the clock and efforts would be made to solve the case within 24 hours.
He said Gurgaon Police had started a new website [email protected] on which any person could lodge his suggestions and complaints.
Also, five new helplines had been started exclusively for the help of women. A helpline for the aged people had also been started.
