Five years' RI for bobbitising
Shajapur, MP, Apr 18 (UNI) A local court has sentenced an accused to five years' rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 for an attempt to murder during which the victim's penis was chopped off.
Another accused was acquitted for want of evidence yesterday by Additional Judge A K Sharma.
According to prosecution, in April 2005, Shankar Singh was returning home from a farm in this district's Sarangakhedi village when Balwant Singh and Gumaan Singh targeted him with stabbing weapons as they suspected Shankar of illicit relations.
Gumaan was acquitted.
