Five killed, two injured in UP road mishap

Kushinagar, Apr 18 (UNI) At least five people, including a woman and an infant were killed and two others injured when their jeep collided with a truck in the Tamkuhiraj area here this evening.

Police here said five people, including jeep driver Feroz Khan (30), Chedi Sharma (35), an unidentified woman (32), her infant daughter and Guddu (30) were killed on the spot, when their jeep collided head on with a truck on the national highway in the area.

The two injured have been admitted to the Gorakhpur Medical College, police added.
