Chennai, Apr 18 (UNI) The DMK-led Democratic Progressive Alliance in Tamil Nadu will not mind a coalition government in the state after the May 8 Assembly poll to unseat the AIADMK Government led by Ms Jayalalithaa, DMK President Mr M Karunanidhi said.

Releasing a book titled 'We will remove the authoritarian rule in the state', written by a Congress functionary A Gopanna, here last night, Mr Karunanidhi said this was his only motive.'' Only with an intention to unseat the AIADMK Government had the DPA adopted a flexible policy during the seat-sharing talks,'' he noted.

He said people from all walks of life, especially farm workers, weavers and others had to be saved from the 'undemocratic, authoritarian and tyrannical' rule of the AIADMK Government.

Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation G K Vasan said the AIADMK Government should be defeated as it was preventing various welfare measures sanctioned by the Union Government from being implemented.

Tamil Nadu Congress President M Krishnaswamy, and CPI(M) State Secretary N Varadharajan, were among others who spoke on the occasion.
