Cover Assembly proceedings exhaustively: Minister

Hyderabad, Apr 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy today asked newspapers to allocate more space and improve their coverage of Assembly proceedings Releasing the diary of Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ) here, Mr Reddy felt newspapers were not giving adequate coverage of the Budget Session.

Newspapers should allocate at least one page for the coverage and report comprehensively, Mr Reddy opined.

He also felt the need for journalists to be educated on Assembly proceedings and called upon the Press Academy and government to hold classes for them.

Later, Mr Reddy felicitated freelance journalist Ms Vanaja who received Ramnath Goenka Award recently.
