Hyderabad, Apr 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today directed the officials to make foolproof arrangements for the 39th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of Asian Development Bank (ADB) to be held here from May 3 to 6.

He reviewed the arrangements for the prestigious event, to be attended by over 3000 delegates, including Finance Ministers of 65 ADB member countries, with the senior officials of the departments concerned, according to an official release.

The Chief Minister said six IAS officers would be posted as liaison officers for successful conduct of the event.

He specifically directed provision of un-interrupted power supply during the event.

The Chief Minister was told that no dharnas and protests would be allowed near the venue during the event. However, such protests would be restricted to an area at Indira Park as per practice.

The Commissioners of Police, Hyderabad and Cyberabad were instructed to ensure adequate security in a planed manner at all the venues viz. airport, hotels, and other strategic points besides making arrangements for efficient traffic control and parking management.
