CCL trains 2257 employees in 2005-06
Ranchi, Apr 18 (UNI) With a special emphasis to bring attitudinal change among employees, the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has provided job oriented training to 2257 employees in 2005-06, according to a CCL spokesman.
He also said CCL's task in the current financial year would be more challenging as it has fixed the target of coal production for the year 2006-07 at 42 million tonnes and expect profit level to be around Rs 1200 crores.
He said during 2005-06 about Rs 56 crores have been spent on employee welfare under different heads including, housing, water supply, colony road, education and medical facility.
CCL plans to further improve the quality of life at working places and living places of employees, he added.
