Body of JD(U) leader found

Giridih, Apr 18 (UNI) Police today recovered the body of a local Janata Dal (United) leader Nagendra Nath Singh near a railway bridge in Saria police station area of this district.

Mr Singh (62) had unsuccessfully contested the Bagodar assembly constituency in 1980.

He was currently affliated to the JD(U).

He had started for his village Devradih from Bagodar last night.

Police recovered his body near the Bhaluadih railway bridge on the Dhanbad-Gaya rail section of the Eastern Railway and have not ruled out the possibity of foul play.

Further investigations are on.
