Patna, Apr 18 (UNI) A special vigilance court today refused anticipatory bail to high profile RJD MP Anriruddh alias Sadhu Yadav in a case related to multi-crore rupee flood relief scam.

Acting judge of the special court Ramanand Sharma rejected the petition seeking anticipatory bail to the RJD MP, brother of former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, after hearing arguments from petitioner's counsel Ganesh Prasad and special public prosecutor Ajit Kumar Singh.

Although Mr Sadhu Yadav's name did not figure in the FIR, filed in connection with squandering of public funds and committing forgery and cheating in carrying out flood relief operations in North Bihar in 2004, his alleged involvement in irregularities came to light during investigation. A chargesheet was filed against him at a later stage.
