Ajit rules out prospects of third front
Basti, Apr 18 (UNI) Rashtriya Lok Dal president Ajit Singh today ruled out the posssibility of any third front in country's politics in the near future.
Addressing a press conference here the former union minister said that talking of forming such a front in the near future was futile.
Such a front was possible only at the time of the next Lok Sabha elections, he added.
Mr Singh also reiterated his demand of lodging cases against police and administrative officials responsible for the recent fire tragedy in Meerut.
''Merely transfering guilty officials would not do, but it should be followed by punitive action against them,'' he said.
