Two dead, one injured in road accident

Korba, Chhattisgarh, Apr 17 (UNI) Two people were today killed and one seriously injured when a truck collided head on with a motorcycle at Kartal village, 45 km from district headquarters, police said.

The cement-laden truck was heading from here to Jashpur town when it rammed into the bike coming from opposite direction yesterday.

Motorcycle-borne Chhavilal Rathia (35) and Raghuvar Singh (32) died on the spot, while Dwarka Prasad admitted to primary healthcare centre.

The truck has been seized, but the driver is absconding, police said.
