Train passengers looted, one shot
Bettiah, Bihar, Apr 17 (UNI) A passenger was shot dead when he tried to resist train dacoits, who were looting people in a number of coaches in Gorakhpur-Muzaffarpur passenger train between Chamua and Narkatiyaganj stations under Samastipur division, GRP sources said today.
The criminals boarded the train under the garb of passengers and robbed their cash and valuables last night soon after the train left Chamua station.
The victim, Gopalji Sah from Bankatwa village was shot dead and the miscreants fled after pulling the alarm chain, the sources said.
