Third Front before next LS elections: Naidu

Kakinada, Apr 17 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and opposition leader in the assembly N Chandrababu Naidu today said a Third Front was imperative for development and it would emerge before the next Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing a press conference here Mr Naidu said ony a third front could work for the welfare of the downtrodden and farmers.

Thre should be an alternative to the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party.

He said he was holding discussions with like minded parties for the formation of the Front.

Mr Naidu alleged that the Jalayagnam-irrigation projects taken up by the Andhra Pradesh government were ridden with corruption.
