Thermax bags Rs 360 crore order
New Delhi, Apr 17: Pune-based Thermax, a global solutions provider in energy and environment engineering, today said it had bagged a Rs 360 crore order from a refinery project.
The company will design, manufacture, supply, erect and commission Auxiliary Boilers and Heat Recovery Stem Generator (HRSG) for an unidentified client's refinery project.
The HRSG is to be fitted to gas turbine- Frame 9 Machines. The entire steam generation from the plant will be approximately 2,500 tons of steam per hour.
Earlier, Thermax said it is setting up its second major plant in Vadodara.
A 50 hectare land has been acquired from Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) for Rs 4 crore. The company would start construction of the plant in three weeks.
Thermax has also completed the process of divesting ownership rights from its overseas wholly-owned subsidiary, Energo Rus Ltd, erstwhile Thermax (Rus) Ltd.
Along with this, the company had also reclassified its redeemable preference shares into equity shares in the authorised share capital and undertook sub-division of the equity share of the face value of Rs 10 each into face value of Rs 2 per share.
