Silver crosses Rs 20,000-mark, gold also rises high

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) Prices of spot silver closed at Rs 20,200 per kg while gold rose at Rs 8,965 per ten gm respectively, traders at the bullion market said today.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 20,200 (19,890), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,920 (8,855), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 8,965 (8,905).
