Silver crosses Rs 20,000-mark, gold also at new high

Mumbai, Apr 17: Prices of silver resumed at Rs 20,155 per kg while gold rose to another new peak at Rs 8,955 per ten gm in the opening session, today traders at the bullion market said.

Following were the rates: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 20,155, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 8,910, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 8,955.
