RSS lambasts politicians for raking up Kashmir issue

Written by: Staff

Jammu, Apr 17 (UNI) Terming Jammu and Kashmir as an integral part of India, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has strongly lambasted politicians for raking up the Kashmir 'issue' for vested interests.

RSS Sarkaryavah Mohan Bhagwat, addressing people during the birth centenary celebrations of former Sar Sanghchalak Madav Rao Sadashiv Rao Golvalkar (Guruji) at Parade Ground here last evening, said the Parliament, through a resolution in 1994, had also made it clear that if there is any dispute, it is on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) which should be taken back from Islamabad.

The RSS leader, lamenting over political leaders, clearly said politicians due to their vested interests, cannot solve the Kashmir issue. The Kashmir issue can only be solved through the united will of the countrymen and not through a factured society which is divided on the basis of casteism and regionalism,'' he said.

Expressing dismay over anti-national activities in Jammu and Kashmir as well as the North East, the RSS leader said, terrorism has gripped the entire nation. ''A divided society cannot overcome these challenges. With united efforts and will power, the Jews fought for over 100 years to make the Israel of their dreams a realy,'' he added.
