Regular bail petition of Shahabuddin rejected

Patna, Apr 17 (UNI) Patna High Court today rejected the regular bail petition of incarcerated RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin.

After hearing arguments of both sides, a single bench of Justice Sheokirti Singh rejected the bail petition.

A case was registered against Shahabuddin after recovery of AK-47 rifles, foreign make rifles, grenades and other ultra modern arms during the police raid at his native village of Pratappur in Siwan district in 2001.

Mr Shahaubuddin was presently lodged in Bhagalpur central jail.
