Rajnath Singh campaigns for BJP candidate in Bengal
Krishnagar, Apr 17 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh today said the BJP-Trinamool Congress combine in West Bengal if voted to power will generate employment opportunities for the people.
Addressing a rally here, Mr Singh said, '' Left Front claims to be the party of the poor, but Trinamool actually represents people.'' Mr Singh said, ''The CPI(M) is supporting the UPA government at the Centre. So the Congress will also not oppose the Left Front in the state.'' West Bengal state president was also present at the rally to campaign for BJP candidate Kanchan Moitra.
Nadia, Hoogly, Howrah and East Midnapore will go to the polls on April 22 in the second phase of the assembly polls.
