Parties treating minority communities as vote banks:Advani
Kasaragod, Apr 17 (UNI) Leader of the Oppostion in the Lok Sabha L K Advani today alleged political parties were treating the minority communities as ''vote banks''.
Addressing an election meeting here, he said this would only harm their interests.
Regarding the unanimous resolution passed in the Kerala Assembly for getting bail to Abdul Nazer Madany of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), an accused in the Coimbatore serial bomb blasts case, he said only in Kerala such a resolution could be passed.
Mr Advani said such actions were not aimed at safeguarding the interests of the minority communites but to ensure the administrative stability of the political parties.
He alleged that the rule of successive coalitions in Kerala had frozen the state's development.
